Top Things to See and Do
The islands of Hawaii are breathtaking. The water is a beautiful turquoise and snorkeling in clear waters is primo! Kanapali, Maui and Waimea Bay, Oahu are my two favorite locations to snorkel for their clarity, variety of fish and sea turtles.

All the island have waterfalls and there's lots of luaus to attend almost anywhere. They seem pricey, but they almost always include drinks and all you can eat roasted pig with the side pickin's! Take a sunset cocktail or dinner cruise, a dolphin and whale watching tour, sip Mai Tais, surf, hike, bike, and sail. All things to do in Hawaii are chill-axin or as the Hawaiians say "ole".

Before you go
Always, always check the weather before going to Hawaii. Although the weather is warm or hot, it still may rain in Hawaii and in the winter you will get sprinkles and even downpours of warm rain for several minutes, but nothing that lasts all day long. Pack your sunscreen, swimsuit and cool comfortable clothes. I always take shorts, tee shirts, skirts, flip flops, running shoes and a cute pair of sandals in case I want to semi dress up. You don't have to dress up in Hawaii. It's all chill. If you plan on visiting Pearl Harbor from the island of Oahu, then be sure to purchase tickets before you go. Wi-fi, Internet and Cell Phones
Wi-fi is not perfect on the islands of Hawaii, but if you are staying in a hotel, Airbnb, etc., then you should be okay. Here is a website that provides all the hot spots for free wi-fi on the islands: http://www.wififreespot.com/ha.php

Money
Although it may seem that you are on a foreign land somewhere in the south Pacific, the islands accept USD, after-all, Hawaii is part of the USA.

Food and Water
Water is safe to drink and there are plenty of stores that sell bottled water if you prefer. Food can be quite expensive, so I recommend to use Yelp. If you are afraid of not getting wi-fi, then research before you go. I found a great breakfast place in Honolulu called Harry's Place and they have been there for a long time. .What to Purchase
Chocolate covered Macadamia nuts are super tasty, Kona Coffee, seashell jewelry, and if you like spending a little more money; then pearls. If you shop the ABC Markets, you can earn free gifts to take home. ABC Markets are also great for souvenirs.
